The brand name Kyon Major derives from a constellation in the Southern Sky,otherwise known as "Megas Kyon" (greek) or "Canis Major" (latin), meaning "The Greater Dog". This particular constellation portrays a dog standing on its hind legs while pursuing a hare. ​

But how was this constellation created, you may ask?

It is believed that Zeus, the Greek God of the Sky was utterly impressed by the speed of this dog that he decided to raise it to heaven along with the hare.
